Warsaw Convention Bureau

Warsaw Convention Bureau is responsible for promoting Warsaw as an attractive professional destination of meetings and gathering for Warsaw foreign conference events, congresses and motivational meetings.

From January 2014 Warsaw Convention Bureau works in frames of Warsaw Tourism Organization. The drive of planned promotional actions is selling discipline of the business with the city authorities.

Warsaw Convention Bureau main activities are:

  • Active search of events for Warsaw, i.e. through work with local scientific environment and network associations ( as a part of Polish Congresses Ambassador PIT and SKKP and current work), participation in IMEX Frankfurt market and IBTM World, organization of studio visits and planners meetings

  • Offer handling from foreign planners wishing to organize events in Warsaw

  • Handling studio visits for confirmed and potential event organizers (site inspections, fam trips)

  • Providing meeting organizers with promotion materials and touristic brochures

  • Providing files for conference events

  • Cooperation of network associations: ICCA, MPI, SKKP, SITE, SBE for promotion of Warsaw and collecting new contacts and event organizers

  • Supporting the idea of Poland Meetings Destination – initiative bringing change to Polish network MICE like a policy change in a local fee

  • Gathering and distributing knowledge about MICE network in Warsaw (conference objects, event statistics)
