Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw
The Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw (MSN) is a public cultural institution. Established in 2005, it reopened in a new building on Marszałkowska Street in 2024. The MSN collaborates with diverse groups, communities, and institutions in Poland and internationally. The Museum hosts exhibitions, performances, screenings, lectures, workshops, and concerts.
The building was designed by American architect Thomas Phifer, an experienced museum designer. Phifer designed a minimalist composition of two cuboids: a horizontal cuboid museum and a tower housing the museum cinema. The museum encompasses nearly 20,000 square meters of total space on four floors above ground and two underground levels, including 4,500 square meters of exhibition space. It also houses a bistro and the M Shop—a combination bookstore and space for art and design enthusiasts.
The Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw is a place of inspiring experiences and artistic education.
