University of Warsaw Botanical Garden
Located in the center of the capital, the University of Warsaw Botanical Garden is a sanctuary of nature in a big city. In the shade of several hundred-year-old trees that remember the founder and first director of the garden, Michał Szubert, you will find over 5 thousand species and varieties of plants divided into historical sections, including taxonomy, plant biology, alpine garden, plants of different environments and tropical plants in greenhouses. In the summer season, educational walks and workshops are organized here, tailored to all age groups and different interests of our guests. The Botanical Garden also makes its interiors available for workshops, festivals, art exhibitions, conferences or meetings and lectures. For two years, we have been opening the winter garden for you in the evenings and inviting you to the MAGIC BOTANICAL light exhibition.
