Barbara Tutak among the 100 most influential people in Polish tourism

For the sixth time, the Wasza Turystyka portal has announced the list of "100 most influential people in Polish tourism" and once again we are pleased to announce that Barbara Tutak, President of the Warsaw Tourism Organization, has been included in the list.

As the editors of the website emphasize, "(...) this is not a popularity ranking or a list of the most liked people in the industry (...). Our '100' are people whose business decisions (sometimes political), professional successes (or failures) have an impact on the situation in the tourism industry."

The Chapter consisting of 13 tourism experts is responsible for selecting the people who make it onto the list each year. The justification for Barbara Tutak's 26th place in 2021 is as follows:

An experienced tourism expert, she has brought the Warsaw Tourism Organisation to a high level. A person with vast substantive knowledge. She does not act spectacularly, but consistently and decisively. She constantly expands and develops WOT as a classic DMO. In March, she gained the Chopin Airport in Warsaw as a member. WOT successfully cooperates with other large metropolitan local tourist organisations, creating promotional strategies for the city network.

Barbara Tutak skillfully uses the time of covid to increase the activity of the organization she manages on many levels. In September, especially for staff and employees directly related to serving guests visiting Warsaw, and also with the need to improve the quality of services provided, the Warsaw Tourist Organization prepared a project for a series of three training courses, during which Warsaw guides talked about Warsaw and its main tourist attractions.
