Buy Poland 2021 online workshops

On 14–16.12.2021, we participated in the BUY POLAND 2021 industry workshops, which were organized by the Polish Tourism Organization with the participation of the tourism industry from Poland and abroad. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the workshops were organized online.

The event aims to increase the interest of foreign tour operators in organizing visits to Poland with the participation of groups and individuals. The POT invited about 70 tour operators from markets covered by the activities of the Foreign POT Centers and from countries covered by the promotional activities of the POT headquarters to participate in the event. Among the participants on the "buyers" side, offices from Russia, Ukraine, China, India and the USA predominated. Representatives from Belarus, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy and Canada were also present.

Among the exhibitors acting as “sellers”, apart from us, there were representatives of other Polish cities and regions and Polish Tourist Brands, as well as tour operators and DMCs, including about 8 WOT members.

Despite the relatively small number of meetings held, the foreign travel organizers we managed to talk to presented very specific plans and expectations. Some of them (e.g. a study trip for tourism students in Belgium), if the pandemic situation allows, may be realized next year. We also hope to introduce Warsaw tourist products to the catalog offers of our partners in talks.
