E-learning for the Belgian tourism industry
Last year, we started cooperation with the Polish Tourist Organisation’s Foreign Centre in Brussels on the development of an annual online training course on Warsaw’s tourist offer.
E-learning is aimed at Belgian tour operators and travel agents. Warsaw is the city that, together with Krakow, is the most recognizable on the Belgian market. Numerous direct flights guarantee Warsaw's strong position among European destinations.
The training is held on the Travel 360° platform, which acts as an information portal for the broadly understood Benelux industry. Travel 360° offers, among other things, newsletters, printed publications and online training popular among the industry.
E-learning presents a range of information completed with a knowledge test and a certificate. It is available in French and Dutch, thanks to which it reaches the entire Belgian industry. The training focuses on the most important tourist attractions of our city, its museums, accommodation, gastronomy, shopping and also on the elements of active tourism, mainly cycling and the meetings industry. Practical information has been expanded to include access to the catalogues of the Polish Tourist Organisation "HygienicSafeVenue" and "Online Site Inspection".
It is estimated that at least 150 people will participate in the training. The person who obtains the highest number of points will be invited to a study trip to Warsaw. Accommodation for the winner was funded by a member of WOT, the beautiful boutique hotel Indigo. The sponsor of the flights is LOT Polish Airlines, which provides daily direct connections on the Brussels-Warsaw route.
We are also extremely pleased that the publications we have prepared, containing suggestions for spending a weekend in Warsaw, are used by ZOPOT Brussels and Amsterdam.
Our materials "Classical Warsaw", "Luxury Warsaw" and "Warsaw for families" are published in industry newsletters sent to around 2,000 entities from all over Benelux. Information about the brochures was also published on social media and industry profiles of ZOPOT Brussels and Amsterdam and on Linkedln
The materials also fit in perfectly with e-learning conducted on the Belgian market.
