FAM Trip in Warsaw – Cypriot tour operators discover the capital's potential

The capital in the programs of travel agencies from Cyprus

From January 23rd to 26th, Warsaw hosted representatives of Cypriot travel agencies that already offer Poland in their programs. The study visit, organized by Incoming Poland in cooperation with LOT Polish Airlines, aimed to strengthen business relations and present Warsaw as an attractive city break and cultural tourism destination.

The FAM Trip was attended by representatives of Travelprojects, Top Kinisis, Xenos Travel, Amathus, CTT, Orthodoxou Travel, Travelpass, Zenith Travel, Shoham Travel, Travel Project, and a representative of LOT Cyprus. The program offered a diverse perspective on Warsaw, from historical to modern.

History, culture and urban experiences

The itinerary was designed to showcase the city's diversity in a short period of time. Guests visited the Royal Castle and the Royal Łazienki Park, and then explored the contemporary face of the capital during a visit to the Palace of Culture and Science, which included access to the observation deck.

The program was complemented by visits to the Museum of Life in the Polish People's Republic, the Polish Vodka Museum (with tastings), and the Wedel Museum. The stay culminated in dinner at the Wieniawa restaurant, accompanied by a concert of music from the interwar period.

Warsaw as a ready-made tourist product

The January FAM Trip confirmed that Warsaw is a modern, well-connected city offering a wide range of opportunities for urban and cultural tourism. Face-to-face meetings with agents allowed us to better tailor our offerings to the needs of the Cypriot market and strengthen relationships with foreign partners.
