POT-ROT-LOT Forum
On 15-17 November we participated in the POT-ROT-LOT Forum. This cyclical meeting is addressed to entities included in the Polish tourism management system. Recently, representatives of Tourist Brands have also appeared among the participants.
The plenary part of the meetings was attended by the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, Mr. Andrzej Gut-Mostowy, as well as representatives of the Polish Tourist Organisation – with its President, Mr. Rafał Szlachta, and representatives of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship – co-organiser of the meetings.
During this day, the assumptions for the promotion plan for 2022 were presented, as well as suggestions for marketing activities, which included online activities, fairs, vloggers' trips and competitions, as well as activities known from previous years.
On the domestic and foreign markets, promotional tools include:
– Internet – (influencer marketing, content marketing, thematic promotional campaigns including SM, Google Ads, intensification of communication in SM – user engagement, broadcasting of product spots, creation of landing pages, modernization and development of polska.travel content, live – streaming, mailing, mobile marketing).
– PR/traditional media activities,
– study trips,
– tourist workshops – online and offline,
– tourist fairs,
– organization of promotional events and events – depending on the situation, online or offline,
- outdoor advertising
Additionally, on the domestic market:
– competitions, training, workshops for the industry
The scope of activities in the following markets will be increased: Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Israeli – the launch of centres is planned in the future.
There will be an intensification of promotional activities in the country and abroad, modernization of the ICT infrastructure, promotion using new technologies, implementation of research on the demand and supply side of the tourism market (basing activities on current knowledge).
A summary of the use of PBT was presented by the Vice President of POT – Ms. Anna Salamończyk-Mochel, and the assumptions for the promotion of the meetings industry by Ms. Aneta Książek – Chief Specialist in the Marketing Department.
During the following days of the workshops, individual talks were held between ROT and LOT representatives and the directors of the POT Foreign Centres.
We have made arrangements regarding the scope of joint promotional activities in the German, Japanese, British, Russian, US and Scandinavian markets. In these markets we will carry out – study tours, participate in workshops and presentations and provide content for promotion in SM, on websites and in newsletters.
