Competition Gala – Warsaw with Class, a Trip with Maria in Brussels

School trips have become an area of our interest some time ago.

We believe that by hosting young people in Warsaw, we are educating new Ambassadors of the place, who will return here one day with good memories as future doctors, lawyers, businessmen, railway workers, or people of any other profession. Because who among us does not have good memories of a school trip and would not like to return to the places visited during it?

On March 16, 2023, at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Brussels, we presented awards to the winners of the competition organized by the Foreign Center of the Polish Tourism Organization in Brussels, in cooperation with our association and Polish School – Daskalia in Leuven / Poolse School – Daskalia in Leuven. The concept was a competition organized by WOT in 2022 – Warsaw – a trip with Maria (in the context of the 155th anniversary of the birth of the great Polish Nobel Prize winner).

The Honorary Patronage of the competition was assumed by the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Kingdom of Belgium, Mr. Rafał Siemianowski, the Content Patron was the Maria Skłodowska-Curie Museum and the Media Patron was the Editorial Office of the Monthly FLANDRIA PO POLSKU.

The awards were funded by two museums: the National Museum in Warsaw and the Maria Skłodowska-Curie Museum.

The six winners whose works were assessed best by the competition jury will come to Warsaw in May.

Although Warsaw has the image of a business city, in parallel to MICE products we promote city break offers in various thematic varieties.

For years, we have also been building an image of a city friendly to young recipients. We believe that consistent promotion of Warsaw for school trips – including those from abroad – should bring results.

It also has two invaluable values. The first is educating future brand ambassadors of our city. The second is building an image of a safe place for tourists and visitors.
