Hypothesis 2026 in Warsaw
Institute of Energy – National Research Institute is the organizer of the HYPOTHESIS 2026 conference!
Poland, represented by the Institute of Energy – National Research Institute (IEN-PIB) in cooperation with the Warsaw University of Technology, has been chosen to host the 21st edition of the international HYPOTHESIS conference. The event will take place in 2026 in Warsaw.
HYPOTHESIS (Hydrogen Power Theoretical and Engineering Solutions International Symposium) is an annual event aimed at exchanging experiences on the latest research results and applications related to the role of hydrogen and related technologies in the entire chain – from renewable energy sources to end users.
The success of our application proves that Poland's position and our hydrogen ecosystem, which the Institute is also a part of, together with Center for Hydrogen Technologies (CTH2) are noticed in the international arena. We hope that this event will become a space for presenting the results of scientific and R&D projects, industrial work and implementations and strategies related to hydrogenization of enterprises, regions and countries. HYPOTHESIS is a unique platform for networking, and in the scientific dimension it is always accompanied by special editions of high-scoring journals - this means that the academic and research community, industry and representatives of the administration meet during it - says prof. dr hab. inż. Jakub Kupecki, director Energy Institute – National Research Institute.
The agreement regarding the organisation of HYPOTHESIS XXI in Warsaw was signed during the 19th edition of the event held in Japan by Prof. Giuseppe Spazzafumo coordinator of the HYPOTHESIS conference series and Jakub Kupecki, who will take over the function of conference chairman.
The HYPOTHESIS XXI conference will be held in Poland for the first time and the organizers expect over 200 participants from all over the world. The event will be supported organizationally by PCO Symposium Cracoviense, which also supported the Energy Institute in the application process. The application also included letters of support from the Polish Tourism Organization, the Capital City of Warsaw and the Warsaw Tourism Organization.
