This Saturday is Museum Night!

Several hundred attractions will be available to choose from during the upcoming Museum Night in Warsaw. This Saturday night will start in the afternoon – attractions have been prepared for both the youngest and adults, so that everyone can see as much as possible. Usually, the offer related to public transport enjoys huge interest, but queues also form in front of famous museums. However, the city encourages you to go to unusual events, prepared especially for this evening.

On the night of 17-18 May, over 300 institutions will be open, several dozen for the first time – including the Collections Storehouse of the Museum of Literature and the Warsaw University of Life Sciences Museum. As in previous years, it will be possible to visit not only museums or places associated with culture, but also those that are not normally accessible, such as archives, ministries or courts.

It is worth remembering that on Museum Night the metro, trams and buses will run until 2:30 a.m., and some will run with increased frequency.

At a special stand of the Capital City of Warsaw, under the Youth Palace, tickets for visiting the viewing terrace of the Palace of Culture and Science will be distributed. A total of 2,800 tickets will be available to visitors, each with a designated time - between 6:00 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. Also at this stand, it will be possible to obtain comprehensive information about the cultural offer and the organization of special museum lines prepared for this night.

In the city zone, you will also be able to take a souvenir photo, send it by e-mail and print it as a sticker. The photos of the participants will be used to create a giant "Museum Night" sign, which will be a souvenir of this event and a material shared on social media (it is best to mark them with the hashtag #nocmuzeów2025 and #NocMuzeówwWarszawie).

In addition, a stationary exhibition of historic vehicles has been planned for the youngest transport enthusiasts.
