Another meeting with the local governments of the metropolitan area

On October 8, 2020, we took part in the 22nd meeting of the Steering Committee of Integrated Territorial Investments of the Warsaw Functional Area.

The meeting was organized by Office of European Funds and Development Policy of the City Hall, and the mayors of cities, municipalities and counties of the Warsaw metropolis took part in it personally. Our participation in the meeting and presentation of the benefits of belonging to WOT were the next steps in our efforts to be admitted to the group of members of our association of metropolitan local government units.

As a result of the last such meeting (in July 2020) to WOT the Piaseczno commune joined, and several more began talks about joining the organization.

Cooperation with local governments from the metropolis took on additional significance after Warsaw adopted it in recent days "Tourism Policy", that is, a directional document programming the development of tourism in the city – one of its key directions is metropolitan tourism.
