Pearls of Warsaw 2022 Competition

Do you love Warsaw? Do you have your favorite places here that are worth showing to someone from outside the city or even from abroad? Take part in Pearls of Warsaw – a competition for Warsaw walking routes off the beaten track.

Propose a trail consisting of up to 5 attractions – interesting places in terms of history, nature, aesthetics or culture. Describe your trail and send photos that best illustrate it. From all the entries, the competition jury will select 10 finalists, and their trails will be presented on the official Warsaw tourist portal go2warsaw.pl and will be included in a survey on the “Pearls of Warsaw” group on Facebook. From August 19 to September 2, each user will be able to vote for their favourite trail. The three trails with the most votes will receive the main prizes. Additionally, the Warsaw Tourism Office will produce clips promoting the trails of the competition winners. Each finalist will also receive a set of gifts.

AWARDS

  1. place: one night with breakfast for 2 people in Mamaison Hotel Le Regina + double invitation to cruise with Po Wiśle
  2. place: one night with breakfast for 2 people in Polonia Palace Hotel + double invitation to a cruise with Po Wiśle
  3. place: dinner for 2 people in restaurant "Different" (restaurant in the dark served by blind waiters) + voucher for 5 people for city game "Warsaw City Games" in the mobile application + double invitation to a cruise with Po Wiśle

Each of the 10 Finalists will receive:

– double invitation to Chopin concert in The "Fryderyk" Concert Hall on Podwale (can be used for any regular concert)
– entrance tickets for two people to the viewing terrace in Palace of Culture and Science
– 1 Warsaw mug from a limited collection
– 1 jar of honey from Warsaw apiaries
– a pair of socks with a Warsaw motif

DATES

– you can submit your routes to the competition from June 20 to August 7, 2022, 11:59 p.m.
– the jury will select the finalists on August 19, 2022
– voting for the most interesting routes will last from August 19 to September 2, 2022, until 11:59 a.m.

NOTE: Each voter can only cast one vote, so choose carefully.
