Consultations on the National Reconstruction Program with Minister Gut-Mostowy

Following the launch of the European Union Recovery and Resilience Facility ("Recovery and Resilience Facility") the Polish government is preparing National Recovery and Resilience Plan – a programme document defining the goals related to the reconstruction and creation of socio-economic resilience after the COVID-19 crisis and proposed reforms and investments. The document, which is the basis for obtaining access to EU funds (EUR 750 billion), is currently in the public consultation phase – also in the area of tourism. Its content can be found here: https://www.gov.pl/web/planodbudowy/konsultacje-kpo2

Of the EUR 58 billion allocated to Poland, the Polish government plans to allocate EUR 300 million to support the tourism sector under Component 1: Resilience and competitiveness of the investment economy: A1.1.1. Support for investments in enterprises. The support is to be aimed at changing or expanding the business profile of entities from sectors most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

On March 4, 2021, we took part in a consultation meeting on this matter with Minister Andrzej Gut-Mostowy and the President of POT Rafał Szlachta.
