Crisis e-conference for the catering industry on May 12.
The situation in which the catering industry finds itself during the coronavirus epidemic is unprecedented. That is why there is a lack of patterns of behavior in a crisis of this type and proven recipes for surviving such a difficult time. In response to the huge need for substantive support from the market, FOR Solutions - a communication agency for the Food & HORECA industry is organizing the First National Crisis Conference on-line for the domestic catering business - MADE FOR Restaurant "The Art of Survival".
On May 12 this year a crisis conference will be held under the slogan "The Art of Survival". During this event, invited experts in the fields of finance, law, crisis management, business psychology, HR and marketing, together with representatives of restaurateurs from Poland and abroad, will answer questions posed by the industry and look for solutions to its most pressing problems.
What is important the participation of restaurateurs, cafe owners, catering companies and their employees is free of charge. All you need to do is register for the event in advance.
For us, it is also a time of change, of facing limitations, but we try to look through the prism of new needs and opportunities – says Agnieszka Malkiewicz, founder of FOR Solutions – We have invited great experts to collaborate and, by conducting many hours of conversations, we are building a program for this virtual event that is intended to bring hope, knowledge and new solutions to our industry for NOW and AFTER the pandemic.
The inspiration to organize this conference was the establishment of a Facebook group on the day government restrictions were introduced. Solutions FOR Restaurants, #RestaurateursTogether and direct contact with the problems currently facing restaurateurs, and there are currently almost 2,000 of them in the group.
In addition to the questions collected from the HORECA market, an important role in creating the conference program will also be played by Program Council, which includes representatives of the restaurant industry, including: Daniel Pawełek (Warsaw), Maciej Nowaczyk (Wrocław) and Tomasz Czudowski (Warsaw), as well as experts and practitioners: Marcin Dera (Sales Director for Gastronomy at Transgourmet Polska), Małgorzata Minta (journalist, Minta Eats), Edyta Duchnowska (legal adviser, specialist in restaurant law), Piotr Wojciechowski (attorney, specialist in labor law), Anna Czarczyńska (economist, Kozminski University), Adrian Łukaszewicz (entrepreneurship specialist, Kozminski University), Paweł Kałużny (business advisor), Marcin Mączyński (Secretary General of the Polish Hotel Industry Chamber of Commerce), John Gabrovic (entrepreneur, Stacja Food Hall in Gdańsk) and Katarzyna Młynarczyk (entrepreneur, Handelek, Socjomania, Kraków).
The conference modules will consist of lectures, discussions and reports from Poland and the world. We will virtually visit several Polish cities to find out how restaurateurs in Krakow, Warsaw, Poznan, Tricity and Wroclaw are coping. We will also virtually host industry representatives from abroad (e.g. Shanghai, Sweden, Denmark and Italy), who will talk about the situation in their countries and how they are coping with the difficulties related to the pandemic and the "lockdown".
The First National Crisis Conference Online "The Art of Survival" is a joint venture of the largest companies associated with the industry.
