National conference "Big Rivers"

June 13 this year we were present at the national conference "Big Rivers” organized by YOU In Staszic Palace in Warsaw.

The conference concerned the recognition of the state of knowledge and the state of Polish research on hydrology, ecology and environmental hydrodynamics in relation to the largest Polish rivers – the Vistula and the Odra.

As part of our cooperation with the Polish Academy of Sciences, we had the opportunity to meet specialists from across the country in the field of hydrology and beyond, and to present support opportunities for potential organizers of future international conferences.

It was the second one this year, after "School of Hydrolics” in Łąck, a conference organized by the Polish Academy of Sciences on hydrology, where we presented an offer of support for potential congress ambassadors. In 2020, the sixth European congress will be held in Warsaw IAHR (International Association of Hydro-Environment Research and Engineering), in which we will also participate as one of the organizational partners.

The activity was carried out as part of the Warsaw Congress Ambassadors Club.
