Garden catering fees reduced by half

To support restaurateurs who have been particularly affected by the effects of the COVID-19 epidemic, a 50% discount has been introduced in Warsaw for the occupation of road areas for restaurant gardens.

The Warsaw City Hall, in cooperation with the Mobility and Transport Policy Office and the Municipal Roads Authority, has developed a resolution enabling a 50 percent reduction in rates for the occupation of road areas for catering gardens and other commercial facilities. Up to a thousand entities may benefit from this, saving a total of approximately PLN 4.3 million. In view of the losses incurred, this will allow restaurateurs to reduce the costs associated with reopening their premises, which is possible from May 18. The solution will come into effect at the beginning of June and will be in force until the end of the year.
