Promoting Poland during the Road Show in China
Following the information from the Polish Tourism Organisation, this year's Road Show in China workshops were held in Beijing, organised and initiated by Polish Tourist Organisation. The first of a series of industry meetings was well-attended. It was attended by 14 companies from Poland (including tour operators, hotel chains, regional tourism organizations) and over 80 representatives of the Chinese tourism industry and media. Among the members of the Warsaw Tourism Organization, representatives of the following companies took part: CT Poland, hotels Sheraton Warsaw and Westin Warsaw, Tariff and LOT Polish Airlines. The event began with a three-hour training of the Polish industry on the characteristics of the outbound tourism market from China. Then, a series of presentations were held to introduce the Polish tourist offer to Chinese tour operators. The POT Foreign Center in Beijing presented Poland's potential in terms of tailor-made trips, the consul in Beijing Jakub Wysocki discussed visa formalities and talked about planned facilities in this area, representatives of PLL LOT presented new air connections, thanks to which direct flights Warsaw-Beijing will take place 365 days a year.
Together with the hotel group Orbis and tour operator CT Poland We prepared a brochure that was part of the welcome packs for representatives of Chinese companies and tour operators.
