Preparations for the international promotion of Warsaw Culinary
Warsaw culinary experience is becoming an increasingly important element of the city's tourist offer. WOT, together with its partners (the City Marketing Office of the Warsaw City Office, the Capital Tourism Office and the Masovian Regional Tourism Organization) are cooperating on the development of the current activities within the project "Warsaw Culinary”. Let us recall that in May 2018, the joint efforts of WOT and the City Marketing Office published a guide of the same title, which was very well received by the catering and tourism industry and can be downloaded in electronic version. here.
In preparation for the activities aimed at popularizing Warsaw cuisine on the international stage, in the last days of January we visited and held talks with the organizers of two leading gastronomic events in Europe and the world. The first of them was the congress and exhibition Madrid Fusion, and the second one is a gastronomic competition and the accompanying Bocuse d'Or exhibition. Talks with the organizers of both events concerned the possibility of presenting Warsaw's culinary potential at these events and obtaining an edition of one of them for Warsaw.
We will keep you updated on the progress of cooperation with these renowned international gastronomic brands and on the details of the “Warszawa Kulinarna” project that are currently being worked out.
