Report "Meetings and Events Industry in Poland 2024"

The main objective of the report "Meetings and Events Industry in Poland 2024" is to provide the broadest possible description of the current situation in the meetings and events industry in Poland based on data from 2023. The anniversary edition of the report, in addition to general information about events organized in Poland in 2023, also includes a summary of the last 15 years, prepared by leading experts from the Polish meetings industry.

 According to data collected by the Poland Convention Bureau, the cities covered by the report recorded an average increase of 51% in the number of reported events compared to 2022. In 2023, the largest share was held by conferences and congresses, which accounted for 54% of all events (an increase of 12% compared to the previous year). Corporate and motivational events accounted for 41%, while fairs and exhibitions – 5%.

In the context of international association meetings, it is worth highlighting Poland's excellent result in the ICCA 2023 Report (International Congress and Convention Association), developed in cooperation with ICCA members, including the Polish Tourism Organization and Polish partners from the meetings industry. The report, based on the analysis of almost 10,000 international meetings organized in 2023, shows that Poland recorded the best result in its history, taking 17th place in the world. This is an impressive advance of six places compared to the previous report, where Poland was ranked 23rd. The organization of 179 international association meetings in 2023 in Poland reflects the effects of strategic actions and investments in the development of the meetings and events industry.
