The Competition for the Best Tourist Product of the Masovian Voivodeship 2025 is underway!
Mazovia is a region full of various attractions that inspire and attract. Modern events, unusual places, original trails and facilities - now they have a chance to be distinguished. The Mazovian Regional Tourism Organization has announced the start of recruitment for the Competition for the Best Tourist Product of the Mazovian Voivodeship 2025.
This competition is the regional stage of a prestigious nationwide project, conducted since 2004 by the Polish Tourist Organisation. Its aim is to select and promote the most interesting, attractive and innovative tourist offers of the region, which are distinguished by their quality and originality. The organiser of the regional stage of the competition is the Mazovian Regional Tourist Organisation.
The selected tourist products will receive prestigious MROT Certificates, and the best of them will have the opportunity to compete at the national level in the Competition for the Best Tourist Product for the POT Certificate.
- Masovia is a region where tourism is developing exceptionally dynamically. Each year, new initiatives join the rich and diverse offer of attractions, surprising with their creativity and attractive offer. The competition for the Best Tourist Product of the Masovian Voivodeship is an excellent opportunity to present both well-known and valued places, as well as fresh ideas and unique experiences that attract tourists and give a new dimension to traveling in our voivodeship - says Izabela Stelmańska, President of the Masovian Regional Tourist Organization.
The competition is open to a wide range of candidates: from local tourism organizations, through cultural institutions, to private entrepreneurs and tour operators. All have an equal chance to present their products in one of five categories:
- Cyclic event – an event that is thematically and organizationally coherent, located at a specific time and place.
- Package of tourist services/Tourist event – consisting of several services or services and material goods offered by the organizers.
- Object – main attraction/service along with accompanying services, concentrated in one place.
- Trail – a route connecting many places or objects related to a certain overarching idea.
- Place – a unique location with rich tourist attractions.
Proposals should be submitted by 15 July 2025 via the website: www.konkurs.pot.gov.pl. Any questions can be directed to: r.konewecka@mrot.pl
The applications will be assessed by a Chapter composed of experts in the field of promotion and tourism. Among the submitted proposals, a maximum of six winners of the MROT Certificate and one winner of the MROT Super Certificate will be selected. Three of them will advance to the national stage of the competition, coordinated by the Polish Tourism Organization, in which POT Certificates will be awarded. Additionally, one product will be distinguished in a competition for Internet users, where the favorite will be selected by online voting.
The Chapter recognized the following as the best tourist products of the Masovian Voivodeship in 2024:

- Family Picnic with the Mazowsze Band
- Gala of the Literature Walk of Fame in Mińsk Mazowiecki
- Szydłowiec – a city where time moves slower
- State Ethnographic Museum in Warsaw
- World Apple Day
- Knights' Tournament for Princess Anna's Ring
Participation in the competition is not only a chance to win the prestigious MROT Certificate, but also a chance to widely promote and strengthen the position of the tourist brand. The winners of the regional stage will be given the opportunity to participate in the national competition for the Best Tourist Product - POT Certificate. All distinguished products will be covered by a special promotional program of the Polish Tourist Organization. The main prize at the national level is the Golden Certificate of the Polish Tourist Organization, which guarantees an advertising campaign worth at least PLN 250,000, implemented by POT.
