Recruitment for Eastern Europe Connect has started – a unique opportunity to establish contacts with the US market

The European Travel Commission (ETC) has announced the start of recruitment for the event Eastern Europe Connect, an online B2B meeting that will enable small and medium-sized tourism enterprises from Eastern Europe to establish new business relationships with tour operators and travel agents from the United States.

The event will take place December 9, 2025 in form previously scheduled online meetings, combined with presentations and substantive sessions. Participation is free, and the number of places is limited to 50 qualified tourism companies.

For whom?

The program is aimed at companies with Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and Slovakia. The goal of the initiative is to support companies in reaching the US market and strengthen their international presence.

Why is it worth applying?

Participating in Eastern Europe Connect is an opportunity to:

  • to connect direct business contacts with American tour operators and agents,
  • to win current knowledge about trends in outbound tourism from the USA to Europe,
  • learn the most important information about the state of the European tourism industry, EU Tourism Transition Pathway and the system ETIAS,
  • participate in presentations of national tourist organizations from Eastern Europe,
  • increase brand recognition and present the offer international industry partners,
  • build lasting relationships in one of the most important intercontinental markets.

Submissions

Recruitment will last until November 14, 2025.
Applications can be submitted via the event platform. Applications will be assessed for their relevance to the project's objectives and to ensure representativeness of participants from different countries.

Organizers

Event Eastern Europe Connect is carried out by European Travel Commission (ETC) with technical support ETOA-Celestina. The project is co-financed by European Union as part of a special grant from the European Commission.
