The season at the Służewiec Track will start on May 1st

The Race Plan for the Służewiec Track in Warsaw for the 2021 season assumes 51 racing days. The season will open on Saturday, May 1, and close on November 14. The plan, during the 2021 season, assumes two free weekends - July 10-11 and 17-18, when horse races will traditionally take place at the Sopot hippodrome.

"Totalizator Sportowy has been accompanying the Great Moments at the Służewiec Track since 2008. We hope that many of them are still ahead of us! For Totalizator Sportowy, 2021 is the year of celebrating the exceptional 65th anniversary of the Company. Active support for the development of Polish sports and athletes has been in the DNA of our company from the very beginning. Every year, Totalizator Sportowy donates funds to modernize the racing infrastructure and organize sports competitions at racetracks in Poland. This season, marketing projects such as Służewiec iTV, Thoroughbred Race or the Women Power Series will also be continued, which aim to popularize racing among the widest possible audience. I am convinced that another great season awaits us at the Służewiec Horse Racing Track" – said Bogdan Pukowiec, Member of the Management Board of Totalizator Sportowy.

The races scheduled to be held in the 2021 season at the Służewiec Track include 260 races for Thoroughbred horses, 160 for Purebred Arabian horses, 20 for French Trotters, three for Half-Bloods and – for the first time since the 2015 season – eight hurdle races.

In addition to the hurdle races, the plan also includes another novelty – a category A race for 4-year-old pure-bred Arabian horses over a distance of 2,000 meters called Tiwaiq Central European Arabian Derby with a prize pool of PLN 119,000, financed by the sponsor Polska AKF Sp. z o. o.

"I hope that in terms of sports, this will be a year full of interesting races, wonderful victories and unexpected results. Thanks to the involvement of the Track Partners who have been with us for years, as well as those who joined this year, the prize pool will be increased by additional prizes. The negotiation processes are in the final phase, so we will be able to provide detailed information soon. Experienced by the difficult last year, we have become stronger as a racing environment, and Totalizator Sportowy as the organizer has even more motivation to promote the beautiful passion of racing.” adds Dominik Nowacki, Managing Director of the Służewiec Horse Racing Track.

What will the upcoming season bring us in terms of racing? Will the 15th triple-crowned horse appear? Will there be a strong contender for Adam Wyrzyk? Will a young talent like Szczepan Mazur emerge? To get answers to these questions, we must watch the competition at the Służewiec Track closely. One thing is certain – the upcoming season will provide us with many sporting emotions.
