Tourism industry meeting in Warsaw – preparations for Poland's presidency of the European Union in 2025
On May 21, 2024, at the Chopin Airport Conference Center in Warsaw, meetings of the tourism industry were held, organized in connection with the upcoming Polish presidency of the European Union. The Warsaw Tourism Organization organized three working sessions, which focused on key sectors: hotel and conference facilities, cultural institutions, and tourist operators and restaurateurs.
The aim of the meetings was to discuss and plan activities for the presidency period, which is planned for the first half of 2025. During this time, Warsaw will become an arena for over 150 events of various scales, which will be organised for government delegations from all over Europe.
During the meetings, participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences and establish new business contacts, which is crucial for the effective preparation of the city to host international events. The Warsaw Tourism Organization and the Warsaw City Hall, in cooperation with the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, focus on providing an appropriate accommodation offer and adapting conference spaces.
We would like to thank all participants for their active engagement and valuable discussions, which will contribute to Warsaw’s success as host of this prestigious period in European politics.
