Study Tour from Spain and Portugal

On September 25-26, we hosted a group of 20 tour operators from Spain (Madrid, Barcelona) and Portugal (Lisbon, Porto) as part of a study visit combined with the BUY POLAND industry workshops organized by the Polish Tourist Organisation.

After arriving in Poland, the guests went on a short sightseeing tour and viewed the panorama of Warsaw from the 30th floor of the PKiN Observation Deck. They spent time for a welcome dinner and rest at the Polonia Palace hotel.

The second day began with industry workshops at the hotel. Bilateral talks with Portuguese and Spanish offices are attended by tour operators operating in the area of incoming tourism from these markets.

After lunch, a group of tour operators toured Warsaw with guides – a walk along the Vistula Boulevards, a mandatory photo at the Warsaw Mermaid, the Powiśle Power Plant, site inspection at the Raffles Hotel, the Royal Route, the Old Town, a Chopin concert at the Fryderyk Concert Hall.

The culmination of the intensive day was a gala dinner in the Restaurant Pavilion of the Hotel Verte. Tomorrow morning the group will set off for Gdańsk for the next part of the study trip.
