Following the trail of Tytus Brzozowski's murals in Warsaw
We are giving users new material – Tytus Brzozowski's mural trail in Warsaw.
We hope that it will enrich the tourist offer in our city. The murals described in the brochure are an unusual trail of wonderful and surprising works of art of large-format paintings, created with passion by an extraordinary man, artist, architect and Varsovian - Tytus Brzozowski. Most of his works present Warsaw, its history, changes taking place over the years, and yet still mysterious and undiscovered. Each of the murals presents a different story.
Tytus Brzozowski says about his city:
"Warsaw does not impose itself with showy splendor. It does not offer charm at first sight. It is ambiguous and full of secrets. Its charm lies in the complexity of the processes that formed it, in its tangled history, in the nostalgia full of emotions and in the ambitions both realized and abandoned. There is a powerful power slumbering in it. The power of change."
In his works, Brzozowski shows scenes from city life, but also includes elements of fantasy and fairy tales. He is able to put together various objects, buildings and people in an incredible way.
It is necessary to delve into the details, find the individual elements, combine them into a whole and discover the true message of the work.
While discovering and learning about Warsaw through the stories created in Tytus Brzozowski's murals, we also encourage you to visit the interesting places we have described in their vicinity.
We hope that the message "I love Warsaw" contained in the installation at Plac Europejski will also become the motto for our new offer.
We encourage you to take a walk and discover Warsaw!
