TEJ Fair in Tokyo

On September 23-25, the Tourism Expo Japan 2022 took place in Tokyo, during which ZOPOT in Tokyo organized a seminar and industry workshops. The fair was visited by over 122,000 people during the 4 days of the event.

In the dedicated promotion of Polish cities (Warsaw Tourism Organization coordinated the preparation of presentations about Krakow, Gdansk, Poznan, Lublin, Wroclaw and Lodz) during the seminar and workshops, 25 people from the Japanese tourism industry took part, representing tour operators, travel agencies and industry media. Warsaw, was not only presented during the business days, but also during the days for consumers (24 and 25 September), during which presentations and quizzes for the audience were organized.

The subject of the meetings was a new proposal for visiting Warsaw in the footsteps of Chopin and a presentation of curiosities related to Prague, places attractive in terms of cuisine and entertainment.

This year's stand was organized as part of the ETC (European Travel Commission) pavilion, whose branch was opened in Japan at the beginning of 2021. Other countries that had information stands together with Poland were the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Portugal and Switzerland.
