Tourism during and after the coronavirus pandemic

In response to the demand for verified, reliable information, research and analysis regarding tourism, the Warsaw Tourism Organisation collects a number of useful materials that we present on our website in the tab "knowledge".

We currently recommend material prepared by European Cities Marketing regarding, among others, the role of tourism organizations in the face of changes related to Covid-19.

This report includes the projected operating model and the projected duration of the crisis effects.

The model of exiting quarantine, developed by ECM based on WHO data, predicts the lifting of restrictions on movement in Q2 2021. However, it stipulates that local restrictions may apply due to local relapses of the disease and the need to protect risk groups. The model assumes that the lifting of restrictions will be uneven, depending on the local situation and the decisions of the authorities.


