Warsaw Convention Bureau at Conventa 2025

Warsaw Convention Bureau once again took part in the Conventa trade fair, which took place from 18 to 20 February in Ljubljana. This is one of the most important MICE events in Central and Eastern Europe, bringing together representatives of destinations, hotels, congress centres and business event organisers.

As part of this year's edition, representatives of the Warsaw Convention Bureau and Mazovia Convention Bureau held a series of meetings with event planners, congress organizers and representatives of incentive agencies from key European markets. The talks focused on the possibilities of organizing events in Warsaw, the available conference infrastructure and the support offered by the city to international organizers.

Participation in Conventa allowed us to strengthen relations with existing partners and establish new contacts, especially with representatives of the Balkan and DACH markets (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), which show a growing interest in Warsaw as a MICE destination. The capital of Poland stands out not only with its modern conference facilities, but also with a rich cultural offer and attractive options for incentive groups.

During the gala celebrating the fair, Warsaw was honored with a prestigious award Meeting Star Award in the category Best Meeting Destination 2024/2025, which confirms its dynamic development as a congress destination and the high level of services offered to event organizers. This distinction is an important confirmation for international partners that the capital of Poland is an attractive and professional place to organize conferences, congresses and business meetings, thanks to the joint efforts of representatives of the MICE sector operating on the local market.

Participation in Conventa 2025 was another step in promoting Warsaw on the international stage and an opportunity to present the city's assets to a wide group of experts. The Warsaw Convention Bureau continues its activities aimed at attracting new events and strengthening Warsaw's position as a key meeting center in Europe.
