Warsaw of Fryderyk Chopin
This year marks the 210th anniversary of Fryderyk Chopin's birth and the 10th anniversary of the opening of the museum dedicated to him, which has so far been visited by over a million tourists from all over the world. Regardless of the aforementioned anniversaries, we try to constantly maintain interest in our great composer. Recently, we have participated in, among others, the POT campaign on the Chinese market, and we also participated in the production of the documentary series 'Classical Destinations: The Great Composers'.
Fryderyk Chopin's Warsaw presented in a unique documentary series 'Classical Destinations: The Great Composers'
The cities and towns of Europe formed the backdrop for the work of the greatest composers of classical music. Documentary series Classical Destinations: The Great Composers presents the stories of the most famous authors of classical music and the cities they were associated with. In one of the episodes we will move to Warsaw - the city of Fryderyk Chopin, where we will delve into the life and extraordinary work of the composer.
Where does this wonderful music come from? Of course, deep within and from the sensitivity of its authors. However, the places where the composers were born, where they lived and created also had a huge impact on their work. The first season of the series shows us six great musical minds and the places that were their home. Johann Sebastian Bach, George Frideric Handel, Ludwig van Beethoven, Fryderyk Chopinn and Edvard Grieg. We travel to the most beautiful places in the world, steeped in rich history and of course the beloved music that was born there, where we delve into the lives and times of these composers. Each episode takes us to the places where the titular authors worked, lived and wrote their extraordinary music.'Classical Destinations' is a gateway to a deeper, more personal understanding of the work of these six composers and the places from which their subtle music comes.
Warsaw was undoubtedly in the heart of Fryderyk Chopin. He was one of the first great piano virtuosos, whose music instilled a new romantic spirit in all fields of art. Although he appreciated the refined life of Paris, his love of his homeland was the source of expressive and emotional music that won the hearts of the audience. In the episode about Warsaw, we can listen to chamber performances of many of Chopin's favorite piano works.
We are extremely pleased that we could contribute, even in a small way, to the creation of this episode. The series will be available in the programming offer of CANAL+. We encourage you to watch it announcements:
