Warsaw at PATA Denmark
On 26–27/10/2022, we took part in workshops for the Danish industry for the second time. PATA Denmark Chapter in Aarhus and Copenhagen.
These are meetings organized in the 'free flow' formula, without the possibility of prior appointments. However, visitors are motivated to visit all stands by the possibility of taking part in a prize lottery at the end of the evening - participation in it is authorized by a completed form confirming meetings with all exhibitors.
Once again, we represented Warsaw with the PLL LOT branch in Denmark, which has a large network of contacts among local agencies and tour operators. Thanks to the courtesy of our member hotels Indigo Warsaw and Sheraton Grand Warsaw An additional incentive to visit our stand was an internal lottery with a weekend stay in Warsaw as the main prize.
Since the lifting of the pandemic restrictions, Danes have been travelling very willingly and intensively. Unfortunately, the situation beyond our eastern border is still discouraging participants from choosing Poland. We hope that activities such as study tours or sponsored weekend stays for industry representatives will help strengthen the image of our city as safe and attractive - also in terms of the quality to price ratio, which is becoming increasingly important for consumers. We also hope that the large representation from Poland - in addition to Warsaw and the Polish Tourist Office, there were also representatives of the City of Sopot, the Puro hotel chain and the Krakow offices of Jan-Pol and 4Travel - will result in renewed interest in our country among travellers from Denmark.
