Warsaw at the Arabian Travel Market 2024 in Dubai

The next edition of the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai took place on May 6-9, 2024. This event, known for its scale and international character, attracts crowds of participants from all over the world every year. This year, at the stand organized by the Polish Tourism Organization, we had the opportunity to represent Warsaw, promoting our city as an attractive travel destination.

The Dubai fair is a great opportunity to establish new business contacts and strengthen relationships with existing partners. Once again, as in 2021, our promotional materials were also presented in electronic form, using modern technologies, such as the QR code, allowing immediate access to information and offers. This approach not only reflects the pursuit of ecology, but also adapts to the current trends at such events.

The interest in the Polish National Stand was significant, which also proves the growing role of Warsaw as a key point on the tourist map of Europe. Information about direct flights from Dubai to Warsaw, operated by Emirates and Flydubai, among others, also increased interest and encouraged further discussions on cooperation and our city's offer.

Logistical issues, such as visa procedures for non-EU citizens, were also discussed during the fair. Representatives of the tourism industry from the UAE region had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the current requirements, which is important in the context of increasing the number of tourists from the region.

The stand was also supported by other Polish cities and regions, presenting Poland as a multicultural and open place worth visiting.
