Warsaw adopts new Economic Development Policy

The President of the Capital City of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, approved the new Economic Development Policy of the Capital City of Warsaw. The document was developed by the Economic Development Office in close cooperation with representatives of the business and scientific community and the Warsaw community, using a participatory model.

The economic development policy defines the direction in which the Warsaw economy should go, emphasizing innovation, stability and resilience to challenges. It also includes assumptions regarding social justice, responsibility, social involvement, creativity, locality and sustainable development.

For the Warsaw Tourism Organization, and in particular for the Warsaw Convention Bureau, activities promoting Warsaw as a place friendly to business and tourism are of key importance. The main areas of development listed in the Policy include: inter-sectoral cooperation, attracting innovative enterprises, developing pro-entrepreneurship education, creating conditions for creative businesses, attracting talents and developing public-private partnerships.

The economic development policy is a response to the needs of residents and entrepreneurs, positioning Warsaw as a strong and dynamic economy ready for future challenges.
