Warsaw through the lens of an influencer from Saudi Arabia
On July 17-18, we had the pleasure of hosting a special guest from Saudi Arabia in Warsaw – influencer Ammar Mohammed, whose social media channels are followed by hundreds of people from the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa). The visit was part of a project promoting Poland as an attractive travel destination, implemented in cooperation with the Polish Tourist Organization.
The aim of the stay was to present the most interesting attractions of Warsaw, show the city's hospitality and inspire tourists from Arab countries to visit the Polish capital.
During two intense days in Warsaw, our guest:
- stayed in an elegant and comfortable Hotel Presidential, where he could relax after the journey and feel the hospitality of Warsaw,
- admired the breathtaking panorama of the city from observation deck on the 30th floor of the Palace of Culture and Science,
- went on a guided walk around Royal Łazienki Park, visiting, among others, the Palace on the Island – one of the most picturesque places in Warsaw,
- took place cruise on the Vistula River, from which he could admire the modern and historical buildings of the city from a completely different perspective,
- visited the legendary E. Wedel Chocolate Factory, where, in the company of director Robert Zydel, he learned about the history of this iconic brand and tasted the products that have been delighting Poles and foreign guests for generations,
- rested in the bosom of nature in Skaryszewski Park – one of the largest and most beautiful parks in the capital,
- and tried modern cuisine in an atmospheric restaurant Orzo Connoisseur, located in the revitalized spaces of a former vodka factory.
The collaborative work of many partners and members of the Warsaw Tourist Organization allowed us to create an inspiring visit program that combined the city's most important tourist attractions with less obvious landmarks. This allowed our guest to experience Warsaw from a variety of perspectives – as a modern, green city, full of history, flavor, and atmosphere.
Ammar Mohammed's visit was also an opportunity to show that Warsaw has a lot to offer tourists from the Middle East – both those seeking culture and heritage, as well as those who value comfort, nature and interesting culinary experiences.
