Warsaw surprises Budapest – a city break full of contrasts

On April 8, at the invitation of the Foreign Centre of the Polish Tourist Organisation in Budapest, the Warsaw Tourist Organisation took part in a meeting promoting Poland as an attractive tourist destination for Hungarian tour operators, agents and journalists.

The event took place at the Polish Institute in Budapest – a prestigious location in the heart of the Hungarian capital. The meeting program was prepared with representatives of the local tourism industry in mind, interested in expanding their offer to include Polish cities.

Warsaw presented itself alongside partners such as PLL LOT and Poznań Local Tourism Organisation, and separate presentations were also prepared about Gdańsk and Wrocław. The meeting aimed not only to present selected tourist destinations, but also to establish relations with key partners and build a positive image of Poland as a modern, accessible and diverse country.

During our presentation, we talked about why it is worth choosing the capital of Poland as a destination for a short trip.

We also emphasized that Warsaw is a city that can surprise – modern, open and dynamic, and at the same time full of history and a unique atmosphere. It is a perfect destination for both a weekend trip and a longer stay at any time of the year.

We would like to thank the POT International Centre in Budapest for the invitation and the opportunity to present the capital of Poland to such a committed and curious Warsaw audience.
