Culinary Workshops in Rome with Opasły Tom
On March 7, in Rome, at the Eataly educational center, we co-organized culinary workshops for representatives of Italian lifestyle media, conducted by Sebastian Maliszewski - the chef of the Opasły Tom Restaurant, in cooperation with the Foreign Center of the Polish Tourism Organization. Journalists could try their hand at cooking traditional dishes with elements of typical Warsaw cuisine, based on specially selected, top-quality products.
The workshops were preceded by a joint presentation by the Warsaw Tourism Organization and the Capital Tourism Office, describing the history of Warsaw's cuisine and new trends characterizing the capital's gastronomic scene. The event's partners also presented themselves: Olga Kręglicka, manager of the Opasły Tom restaurant, and the spokesman for PLL LOT - Krzysztof Moczulski. Attractive prizes were raffled among the event participants.
The event was held under the patronage of the Polish Embassy in Italy and was the first in a series of events promoting Polish cuisine and related traditions and customs in Italy.
We hope that after the event there will be numerous publications describing the cuisine and attractions of Warsaw in the Italian media.
