Webinar for organizers of children's and youth recreation

During today's webinar – Tourism for children in Warsaw, carried out for organizers of recreation for children and youth, we presented our city's offer based on the services offered by members of our association.

Each of the presented attractions was a pretext to suggest the main theme of the trip: classic, sporty e.t.c.

Among the route proposals, those related to the lives of two outstanding personalities were discussed in detail: Maria Skłodowska-Curie and Fryderyk Chopin.

After information about the main attractions, most frequently visited by tourists, we presented places that are interesting, inspiring, and not so much associated with the recreation of children and young people.

We also informed about the organizers of trips – by Nysa boats, “cucumbers”, or bicycles, as well as those carried out on the water – the Vistula is an attraction in itself, and the cruise from the Gdański Bridge to the Łazienkowski Bridge will provide interesting experiences.

In relation to the gastronomic offer – we encouraged people to use the offers of member restaurants that would be happy to welcome such guests – e.g. Hard Rock Cafe, Different – a restaurant in the dark, which, in addition to providing unforgettable experiences, will also teach respect and equal treatment of people with disabilities. We talked about the organizers of culinary workshops, from whom it will be possible to learn the “difficult art” of making pierogi and then eat them together.

We paid attention to free services, because there is no shortage of them in Warsaw.

IBIS hotels presented a special offer for accommodation.

In the last part of the presentation, we informed about the actions taken by both WOT and its members to strengthen the tourist image of the city, including recreation for families with children and children and youth.

We are determined to convince that urban tourism, also in the context of using PBT, can be an attractive place for a "Green School" or a 2-3 day school trip.

In convincing decision-makers that potential/planned restrictions in the autumn should not apply to cities or target groups such as young people and children, we will pay attention to: therapeutic aspect; safety aspect what cities can boast of that achieve herd immunity due to the large number of vaccinated people, including among the tourism industry; educational aspect where during your visit you can enjoy lessons in history, mathematics or even music.

Finally, we invited you to visit the website www.odkrytajwarszawe.pl  where we present all of our members' offers for free time management and accommodation in Warsaw. The most recommendable in the context of the webinar topic are the tabs: "for schools" and "tourist voucher".
