Hungarian influencer rediscovers Warsaw
On July 18th and 19th, Warsaw hosted Borcsa Fiala, a popular Hungarian journalist and influencer specializing in travel. The visit, organized at the invitation of the Warsaw Tourist Office in cooperation with the Warsaw Tourist Organization, was an opportunity to showcase both the modern and historical sides of the Polish capital. The journalist visited Warsaw with her husband.
Our stay in the capital began with accommodations at the elegant Sheraton Grand Warsaw Hotel, located in the heart of the city. Comfortable accommodations and a central location allowed guests to conveniently explore Warsaw's charms.
The visit's program included carefully selected stops showcasing the city's diversity and dynamics. Guests visited the newly revitalized Central Square, strolled through the historic Saxon Garden, and admired the city panorama from the rooftop gardens of the University of Warsaw Library. They also visited the Old Town Market Square, a place that has consistently captivated tourists with its atmosphere and architecture.
Another highlight of the program was a visit to Warsaw's right bank. A walk along the Vistula River's bicycle bridge allowed us to discover the charms of Praga, a district known for its artistic atmosphere, unique murals by Tytus Brzozowski (including those on Okrzei and Jagiellońska Streets), and the atmospheric Stalowa Street.
Among the places visited was the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews, one of the most important cultural landmarks in Warsaw. The evening concluded with a visit to the vibrant Night Market, a meeting place for locals and tourists, offering street food from around the world and the unique atmosphere of summer evenings in the capital.
Warsaw's culinary scene also didn't go unnoticed. Borcsa Fiala had the opportunity to sample refined Polish cuisine at the Elixir by Dom Wódki restaurant, where traditional flavors meet modern design. The visit to Elixir was combined with a tour of the Polish Vodka Museum, a place that showcases the history and culture of the national drink. The day concluded with a stylish visit to The Roots Cocktail Bar.
Borcsa Fiala's visit was further confirmation that Warsaw has a lot to offer tourists from all over the world – not only in terms of monuments, but also cuisine, art and modern urban infrastructure.
