Study visit of a group of tour operators from China to Warsaw
The study visit of a 12-person group of tour operators from China to Warsaw, organized by our organization and the Polish Tourism Organization, turned out to be extremely fruitful for further development of contacts in the field of organizing tourist, business and scientific trips. The first point of the program was participation in the Buy Poland workshops, during which representatives of the broadly understood industry, including our members, had the opportunity to establish business relations with participants of the study trip. The further program of the trip, from 19 to 22 October, included visiting the most important attractions of the capital, including the Palace of Culture and Science, the Museum of King Jan III's Palace in Wilanów, the Royal Route, the Old Town with the Royal Castle and the Praga district. A moving point of the visit was visiting the Warsaw Uprising Museum, which provided participants with a deep insight into the history of Warsaw.
The operators expressed great interest in organizing trips related to musical events, which prompted us to visit the Fryderyk Chopin Museum. During the visit, we had the pleasure of meeting the spokesman of the Fryderyk Chopin Institute, Dr. Aleksander Laskowski, who answered the guests' questions and presented the plans for the coming months. Participants also had the opportunity to take part in a unique evening Chopin concert by candlelight, which took place in the Fryderyk Concert Hall.
The culinary flavors of Warsaw delighted our guests in the restaurants U Wieniawy and Czerwony Wieprz. We also visited a traditional milk bar.
An important element of the trip were visits to Warsaw hotels selected by the participants, which played a key role in presenting the city's potential as a tourist and MICE destination. The group visited the legendary Bristol, Polonia and Raffles Europejski Hotels, as well as the Intercontinental Hotel, which delighted with its view of the Palace of Culture and Science. Before departure, the operators also participated in a presentation of the NYX Hotel and a visit to the Leonardo Hotel, which hosted them during their stay and left an excellent impression.
In summary, we see mutual interest in cooperation, and numerous meetings resulted in specific plans for the coming year. We are certain that the visits carried out will contribute to further strengthening the relations between our partners in China and the Warsaw industry, which will open up new perspectives for future projects and joint initiatives.
We would like to thank all partners involved in the project!
