Study visit of representatives of Hungarian travel agencies

On 10–13 June, the Warsaw Tourism Organisation, in cooperation with POT and ZOPOT Budapest, hosted representatives of Hungarian travel agencies during a study visit aimed at presenting Warsaw as an attractive tourist and MICE destination. Accommodation was provided by the Leonardo Royal Hotel Warsaw, which charmed the guests with its excellent location and unique atmosphere.

The program of the visit included the most important tourist attractions of the city, as well as modern infrastructure and culinary offer. Participants had the opportunity to get to know the classic points on the map of the capital, such as Old Town, Royal Route, Royal Łazienki Park, the area around the former district Jewish Whether Royal Castle, and also visit modern post-industrial spaces Powiśle Power Plant and Norblin Factories.

The visit made a great impression on the participants. POLIN Museum – both due to the themes of the exhibitions and the unique event spaces. Guests also had the opportunity to see Warsaw from a completely different perspective – during cruise on the "Po Wiśle" ship, from the viewpoints in Palace of Culture and Science and on roof of the University Library, and also in a miniature version in Queue people.

An important element of the programme were visits to restaurants presenting the diversity of the Warsaw gastronomic scene – the guests visited, among others: Mermaid Irena and Red PigThe program was also enriched by meetings with industry representatives, including visits to congress facilities (conference rooms Hilton Warsaw City) and event (Event Hall at the Norblin Factory).

The visit ended with a declaration of the participants' interest in developing the tourist offer, taking into account Warsaw as a connecting destination. culture, history, hospitality and modernity.
