Study visit – The Design Showcase 2025

Between October 23 and 26, Warsaw hosted a study visit by directors of institutions, festival curators, conference organizers, representatives of associations and design journalists from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Indonesia.

This was the first such large-scale study visit to Poland involving representatives of Asian creative sectors. Its goal was to promote Polish design in East Asia and build lasting relationships between the design communities of Poland, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Indonesia.

Participants included key institutions and organizations, including: 2121 Gallery, British Design & Art Direction Japan, Circle Magazine, Design Council Busan, DesignPlus Magazine, Dongdaemun Design Plaza, GGG Ginza Graphic Gallery, Summer Zine Festival, IDEA Magazine, Indonesian Graphic Designers Association, Japan Graphic Design Association, Korean Society of Typography, Seoul Design Foundation, Taiwan Design Research Institute, Taiwan Graphic Design Association, and the Typojanchi festival.
