WOT local partner of Global Events Congress 2018

The eighth edition of the Global Events Congress 2018 – an international congress of the meetings industry – took place in Warsaw on July 10-13. The congress took place in four locations – in Palace of Culture and Science, Vistula University of Finance and Business, in the hotel Hilton Warsaw Hotel and Convention Centre and Warsaw Google Campus. The main topics discussed at the conference were planning and managing events, how to use new technologies and effectively build participant engagement, discussions about trends, the future of the industry and the development of destinations. The Warsaw Day at the Palace of Culture and Science began with a presentation of Warsaw by the Warsaw Convention Bureau team. In addition to the tight substantive program, many attractions awaited the participants of the event - a visit to the Polish Vodka Museum, a trip with Adventure Warsaw and a cruise and dinner on the banks of the Vistula River. Those interested could also take part in a post-tour weekend trip to Krakow.
