Impressions from attending IMEX America 2023

Poland, with a strong representation, including Warsaw, had the honor of presenting its attractions and opportunities in the meetings sector at IMEX America 2023 in Las Vegas. This prestigious trade fair, organized by the IMEX Group, is a key meeting place for MICE professionals worldwide. The trade fair offers unique business opportunities, a wide range of training and networking opportunities.

IMEX America is one of the most important global events dedicated to the meetings industry. Participants have the opportunity to promote their products, destinations and seek new partners and inspiration for organizing various types of meetings and events. As announced by IMEX President Ray Bloom, this year's edition of IMEX America was attended by 12,000 people, including over 4,000 buyers. Attendance was 45% higher than last year, which underlines the growing importance of this event on the world stage. It is worth noting that 40% returning exhibitors decided to rent more booth space than during the previous edition of the fair. International exhibitors were present in impressive numbers, with a large participation of representatives from North America, hotel chains, Europe and Asia. A significant increase in participation was also noted among exhibitors from Latin America and the technology sector related to the MICE industry.

We proudly presented Warsaw and its potential in the field of organizing international meetings and conferences. Together with other representatives, such as the Gdansk Convention Bureau and the Krakow Convention Bureau, we shared experiences and established new, valuable business contacts.
