Support for students from Chicago staying in Warsaw

The Association "Wspólnota Polska" (SWP), with our support, organized a stay for 67 students from the following schools: ST FERDINAND POLISH SCHOOL, KOLBE SCHOOL OF POLISH LANGUAGE, T. KOŚCIUSZKO SCHOOL OF POLISH LAN, HENRYK SIENKIEWICZ POLISH SCHOOL NF. All from Chicago.

The stay in Poland, including Warsaw, was carried out as part of the SWP Polonia Tourism Centre programme “Poland Always Waits for You”, addressed to people of Polish origin living outside the borders of the Republic of Poland.

The Association "Wspólnota Polska" has been supporting Polish communities around the world for over 30 years, recognizing tourism as one of the main forms of influence on Polonia. Travel to Poland, Polonia and Poles living abroad also constitute a promising segment of the Polish tourism market.

"Poland is always waiting for you" is a program of the SWP Polish Tourism Center addressed to people of Polish origin living outside the borders of the Republic of Poland, strengthening visits to Poland, using tourism as a tool for shaping national identity, learning about cultural heritage, especially among young Polish people.

The youth visited Warsaw on November 19-20 and had the opportunity to visit the Warsaw Uprising Museum, the Royal Castle, and see the views from the viewing terrace of the Palace of Culture and Science.

The American market represents an extremely large and underutilized potential for inbound tourism to Poland.

Polonia is a natural segment to which, as Warsaw, we want to direct our promotional message and invite people to visit the capital of Poland.
