Together for the development of the MICE industry
On December 8, activities carried out by the MPI Poland Chapter combined the launch of the Future Professionals mentoring program with a Christmas meeting of the industry community, with the active participation of the Warsaw Tourist Organization.
Both parts of the event took place at facilities owned by members of our Organization. The inauguration of the mentoring program took place in Focus Hotels SA in Warsaw, where the first edition of Future Professionals MPI Poland Chapter began – an initiative addressed to students and young professionals starting their careers in the MICE industry.
The program involves 14 mentors and 14 mentees representing various areas of the industry, including events, hospitality, marketing, tourism and project management. One of the mentors is a representative of the Warsaw Tourist Organization, which is part of WOT's efforts to develop competencies and strengthen the long-term human resources base in the meetings sector. The program encompasses three months of intensive collaboration, knowledge exchange, and industry-building.
The evening part of the meeting took place in Fryderyk Chopin Museum — also a member of the Warsaw Tourist Organization — and created a space for the integration of the MPI Poland Chapter community and participation in FRIS® workshops, focused on practical aspects of working in the event industry.
The Warsaw Tourist Organization consistently engages in initiatives supporting the development of the MICE industry, utilizing the potential of its members and strengthening community cooperation for Warsaw as a meeting destination.
