Workshop meetings with ZOPOT directors have ended
The two-day workshop meetings with ZOPOT directors, organised by the Polish Tourist Organisation as part of the POT-ROT-LOT Cooperation Forum, have ended.
As usual, the meetings were an opportunity to exchange information, also on the situation on foreign markets and to define the framework for cooperation in 2021.
The situation is changing every day, regulations and restrictions introduced all over the world mean that nothing can be certain, nevertheless we managed to select tasks that will promote Warsaw abroad.
The preliminary agreements, which must be treated in a very flexible manner, have been described below in the division into markets. Nevertheless, we are pleased that Warsaw appears in the plans of many foreign ZOPOTs. We count on fruitful cooperation and joint stimulation of the consumer market and encouraging travel to Poland, including Warsaw.
Spain:
– materials for newsletters and SM communication will be provided
China:
– material for a WeChat mini program containing a database of tourist information about Poland will be developed
– to consider the scope and form of participation in the Road Show planned for autumn
– to consider the scope and form of promotion on the occasion of the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Germany:
– cooperation on study tours on the topic of “Warsaw for young people” and “Warsaw for families with children” (bloggers and journalists)
– material for use in newsletters will be developed at least once a month
– a joint trip will be carried out on the subject of the Chopin competition – on 25-27.08.2021
Japan:
– the entrepreneur and WOT declared their participation in the Tourism Expo Japan TEJ TOKYO 2021 fair
– to consider the form of our participation and promotion of Warsaw on the occasion of Polish Day organized during the Olympics in Tokyo,
– providing film material (2-3 sec. shots) for use in the film production planned by ZOPOT
– providing an appropriate background map of Warsaw for the creation of a combined version with Gdańsk
ISRAEL:
– declared participation in the IMTM trade fair, June 15-16, 2021 in Tel Aviv
– organization of a study trip on sports events
– materials for use in newsletters and communication on websites and in SM will be provided successively
UAE:
– we are considering participation in the Dubai fair – 16-19.05.2021, depending on the exclusion of commercial entities
Scandinavia:
– regarding participation in workshops in Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm, we have pre-declared our participation, which will be confirmed after the recruitment/acquisition officially starts
– we will get involved in organizing culinary workshops
– materials for use in newsletters and SM will be provided on an ongoing basis
Russia:
– ZOPOT will focus on online activities, for which we will be sending content successively
– we will confirm participation in the fair after reviewing the new rules
– we declare our support in carrying out study trips, once they can be carried out in a traditional form
Great Britain:
– city break remains a priority for ZOPOT
– content will be provided (thematically, taking into account the city's distinguishing features) for use in ZOPOT activities conducted on the Internet
Belgium:
– cooperation in the e-learning program
– involvement in an online campaign with the participation of women’s magazines (content: culinary, design, culinary workshops, restaurants, the right and left side of the Vistula – tourist centres),
– we will be sending you materials for content use on an ongoing basis.
Luxembourg:
– we will get involved in the celebration of the 100th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between our countries, details to be agreed
– we will engage in:
- a study trip organized by you together with LUXAir
- in the campaign on RTL radio
- at the fair in Luxembourg, we will take part in it and prepare the material in German
France:
– the area of cooperation may be city break and MICE offers
– a printed brochure “Safe City Break” will be prepared, the division of costs to be agreed
– to be confirmed, our participation in the ITFM TOP Resa trade fair combined with the organization of culinary workshops.
– ZOPOT declared the production of film materials on the subject of cooking, and WOT provided logistical assistance
Netherlands:
– joint Warsaw campaign on YouTube
– we will prepare the content and organize sponsors for the stay as prizes
USA
– market unfreezing expected after Q1 and then we will cooperate in implementing travel in line with demand
– we will be sending materials for use in webinars on an ongoing basis (webinar material for British agents)
