Tourist school
The Tourist School is a project of the Polish Tourist Organisation, which aims to create a fashion for travelling around Poland, its regions and cities, among children and youth of primary and secondary schools.
The project will be based on a database of school trip scenarios that will be made available on the website www.turystycznaszkola.gov.pl The database of trips will be promoted especially in primary and secondary schools in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education.
The programs and teaching materials presented on the website are intended to encourage the pedagogical sector from all over Poland to organize and travel with school groups to interesting parts of our country, including Warsaw.
In the programmes we have developed, we have tried to include not only well-known and popular places and attractions but also those that are not yet widely known and which can be an inspiration for teachers and school children.
We also tried to present the cultural and historical aspect of our city.
Our proposals include:
- "Warsaw, the one and only
- "Warsaw royally"
- "Warsaw – for sporting emotions"
- "Warsaw with art on first name basis
- "Frederic Chopin's Warsaw"
- "Warsaw – great fun"
Learning in times of pandemic and current restrictions is exceptionally difficult today.
We also ask you to always check whether a given tourist attraction is open to visitors and under what conditions.
We hope that the programs we have developed will inspire teachers to visit our city – the capital of the country.
We also hope that they will appeal to young people, who will be convinced that learning does not have to be boring.
We wish you inspiring experiences!
