U Wieniawy
"U Wieniawy" is a restaurant that values modern standards and loves the most precious traditions. Its creators draw inspiration from the best period of Polish culinary and gastronomic art - the interwar period.
"U Wieniawy" is the only restaurant in Poland so strongly inspired by the hospitality, atmosphere and venues of pre-war Warsaw. A friendly and non-standard place, addressed to lovers of interesting culinary combinations, whose patron is General Bolesław Wieniawa-Długoszowski. The restaurant is located in the historic center of the capital, from where our patron would be equally close to each of his favorite places of the pre-war city - "Ziemiańska", "Adria", "Wróbel", "Simon i Steckiego", "Astoria", "Bukiet" and many other venues of that era.
Krzysztof Kowalski, who previously held the position of chef at the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, is responsible for the menu at “U Wieniawy”.
The restaurant's menu includes many exquisite dishes referring to the interwar period, but there is also no shortage of dishes that are considered more common, such as herring in linseed oil, minced cutlets, veal kidneys, beef tenderloin tartare, or beef rump steak with fried onion, potatoes and pickled cucumber salsa.
The restaurant also offers a wide selection of alcoholic beverages.
