Warsaw culinary

Like the rest of Warsaw, the local culinary scene is incredibly dynamic and diverse. Chefs implement bold culinary ideas that surprise with originality and set new trends. Experience unique moments, discovering the taste of wonderful dishes. Warsaw's gastronomy has been appreciated by foreign media, such as Forbes or the Happy Cow Vegan Guide blog, which placed the Polish capital in the top of vegan-friendly cities. Diversity reigns supreme in Warsaw - you can taste dishes from all over the world or you can prepare them yourself using Warsaw recipes.

On June 19, Warsaw gained another advantage in the promotion of culinary products. The prestigious Michelin guide awarded stars and distinctions to 19 restaurants in our city.

It has long been known that the gastronomy industry in Warsaw is created by top-class specialists and enthusiasts.

Looking at the quality and variety of dishes offered in selected Warsaw restaurants (and it is them, not the place or atmosphere that are assessed) we were certain that they would receive the most important culinary distinctions. For some time now we have also been following the rankings and awards given to Warsaw restaurateurs and this observation resulted in the same conclusion; distinctions and stars will be the only question for how many restaurants and in which category "MUST SEE", "WORTH VISITING", or "WORTH NOTING".

Even laymen in this matter do not need to be told that a place in the little red guide is a symbol of prestige for a restaurant, and for its guests an unforgettable culinary experience. A restaurant that receives a distinction becomes popular, and consequently eagerly visited. Therefore, such distinctions also have significance for the destination itself, and this pleases us the most. They show that the quality of services in a city like Warsaw is provided at the highest world level, while emphasizing its rich diversity. That is why Michelin stars and Bib Gourmand distinctions strengthen the brand of our cities and country. Thanks to them, Warsaw restaurateurs join the gastronomic elite, confirming the fact that the places where they serve their specialties are unique and unrepeatable.

We gain a new tool to communicate destinations. We will try to use it in the best possible way.

We wish all the distinguished Warsaw restaurateurs, for whom winning a star is often an important professional goal, to maintain it as long as possible.

Congratulations on the stars for Kraków, and especially Poznań, which joins the group of cities included in the guide for the first time.

City tourism in Poland is the biggest magnet attracting the attention of consumers, Michelin stars make its force of attraction even stronger.
